Opening tomorrow night, 6-9 pm, Print Press & Roll offers an exciting showcase of contemporary Bristol Printmakers. You’ll find original works in linocuts, wood engraving, etching, collagraph, lithography and more.
If you’re an admirer of all things print, then this is not to be missed.

With Max strapped to my back, I’ve managed - somehow!! - to make 2 wee little monoprints to add to the show. It felt so good to make something again. I find the narrative of Maternity Leave (Yay!! No work for 9 months!) doesn’t really apply to me. I love what I do, it makes me tick. I’ve drawn and created almost every day since I was about 14. It’s my very essence. And then to have my time, body, energy pulled in hundreds if directions away from my art, can feel just so unfair.
So I’m chuffed to have made 2 - small but finished- wee prints. Printed from the chaos of the kitchen table amongst Play Doh, sticky porridge and never ending crumbs.
